Herts Aid has just launched a new version of its website, designed to be viewed on a mobile phone.
Visitors viewing hertsaid.co.uk from a smartphone will now see a new, easy to use format specifically designed for navigation on the go.
Many mobile websites cram the entire content into a confusing series of navigation menus. For the new smartphone design content has been distilled to the key information you want: all the latest news and events, tap to call icon and tap to locate our offices.
Also, to request an HIV test, you can tap the relevant icon and send a confidential text message directly to the Herts Aid team.
Suzanne Bannister, Director at Herts Aid said “More people than ever are using the internet on their phones, so we wanted to make sure our website worked in a mobile format. We’re here to support people with any issues to do with HIV or sexual health in a way they’re comfortable with – online, via email or text, over the phone or face-to-face. If we can help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
Herts Aid is commissioned by Hertfordshire County Council to provide local sexual health promotion and HIV prevention services. The services developed aim to meet local needs and support Hertfordshire’s Sexual Health Strategy 2014-2019.
