Testing Faith Programme

Herts Aid in partnership with Naz will be holding its second project ‘Testing Faith programme’ on Friday 31st March 2017 in Welwyn Garden City.

Venue: Fountain of Life Church, 15 Howardgate, Welwyn Garden City AL8 6BU
Time: 9.30am- 5.00pm

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Testing Faith is a free day’s programme aimed at Faith Leaders from all denominations to increase their knowledge of HIV and how it has a particular impact in Black Asian Minority Ethnic Communities (BAME) in the UK

After holding our first training we received positive feedback from the faith leaders saying they found the training very beneficial and are now more informed about the facts of HIV and what role they can play to educate and support their congregations.

“It was enlightening to see what role I can play as faith leader to change the behaviour and perceptions of my congregation. Most importantly I have learnt that people with HIV can live a long and fulfilling life if they test early and get the right help and support. My mission is to empower my people with this information for the bible says my people perish because of lack of knowledge.”
